TEXTILES

Block printing is a slow and beautiful process to print in. Part of its beauty I believe lies in the way the block twists and turns and makes its own rythum as you print your way down length of fabric, giving it a life of its own. My work meets a cross-over between my background in fine art, which is mainly abstract and traditional block printing. Line, mark-making and composition in my textiles are something that I enjoy exploring.

I hand block print my designs onto 100 percent natural linen fabrics and cottons, using water based inks and increasingly now I am introducing natural dyes. My textiles are all hand printed to order and vairy in width and weight.

All my textiles are avaliable to buy per metre through my shop.
