A trip to IVO. It was Fantastic. I couldn't resist taking a few snaps while we were there to share. In particular, the leader cloth was fabulous with its prints over prints, along with the colour splattered everywhere cleaning room roof and those table to die for. Thank you for making us so welcome in your space.
Louisa was formally trained as a painter at Wimbledon school of Art, through her painting she pursues harmony of line, form and composition; all elements that influenced her current range of fabric designs. Taking inspiration from the traditional craft of block printing, one of the oldest methods of printing. Louisa uses simple geometric form and shape, embracing the nuances and subtle variation the process of block printing offers. Her patterns are finished with flecks of colour painted by hand.
