This Hedgehog toy/sculpture was made by William Waterhouse for my little girl on her 1st birthday. A good first birthday toy to treasure I think.
Visit waterhousewilliam.com to see more of his wonderful sculptures.
Louisa was formally trained as a painter at Wimbledon school of Art, through her painting she pursues harmony of line, form and composition; all elements that influenced her current range of fabric designs. Taking inspiration from the traditional craft of block printing, one of the oldest methods of printing. Louisa uses simple geometric form and shape, embracing the nuances and subtle variation the process of block printing offers. Her patterns are finished with flecks of colour painted by hand.
