I have been part of a collaboration between The New Craftsman and Burberry. Over the weekend I held demonstrations of the lino printing process with a set of new Christmas card designs which were especially designed for the weekend. There are a few snapshots from the weekend and here's a link to the timetable of makers who will be there up until Christmas.

I feel very lucky to have been invited by The New Craftsman to contribute to their wonderful VIP area at Decorex last week. The area was a beautiful arrangement of the most wonderful crafts from all over the British isles. The baskets were the talk of the town - a collection of all different basket from over the UK, all with different uses and different hands that had made them. The Cherry Daybeds a collaboration between myself and Artist William Waterhouse were on show for the first time. They are soon to be available at The New Craftsman.

Louisa was formally trained as a painter at Wimbledon school of Art, through her painting she pursues harmony of line, form and composition; all elements that influenced her current range of fabric designs. Taking inspiration from the traditional craft of block printing, one of the oldest methods of printing. Louisa uses simple geometric form and shape, embracing the nuances and subtle variation the process of block printing offers. Her patterns are finished with flecks of colour painted by hand.
